This is Jack Film Agency

Jack Film Agency ( Filmbyrået Jack) is a Norwegian distribution collective owned by twelve filmmakers and curators: Lene Berg, Mariken Halle, Knut Åsdam, Marin Håskjold, Magnus Mork, Guro Bruusgaard, Katja Eyde Jacobsen, Ellen Ugelstad, Thomas Østbye, Ane Hjort Guttu, Camilla Figenschou, and Cato Fossum.

Our Goal

to distribute ambitious, artistic films to a larger audience
create greater understanding and curiosity for a varity of cinematic works
directly involve filmmakers in the distribution of their own work and income

Jack will primarily work with Norwegian cinema. We are present at selected iternational festivals and markets.

Our Mission

Our films will be available at a variety of venues: cinema theaters and cultural centres; galleries and museums; festivals and pop-ups; cafés and clubs; community houses and libraries; through film societies and organisations; schools and universities.

Jack Film Agency aims to create a network of venues for sharing knowledge and experiences with distribution.

We want to work with both old and new films. We want to create screenings where the audience can access films in different phases, from ideas to works-in-progress to finished works.
